Ingredients
- 1 TBSP yeast
- 3 tsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 1/3 cup flour
- 1 Egg beaten
Instructions
- Have the children add 1 tablespoon of yeast into 1/2 cup of warm water.
- Next, have them stir in the honey and salt.
- Then, have the children mix in the flour.
- Once done, have the children knead the dough.
- After that, have the children form letters.
- Next, have them brush the letters with a beaten egg.
- Have the children place the letters on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper and sprinkle salt over them.
- Then, stick the cookie sheet in the oven for about 10 minutes at 425 degrees.
- Let cool.
And, voila! The kids have now made Alphabet Letter Pretzels!
